Bilateral relations between India and Pakistan are at lowest ebb after India revoked article 370 and 35A of its constitution and stripped of special status of Kashmir. Although this is a good will gesture by Pakistan but this move would make the people of occupied Kashmir wonder whether or not Pakistan was really serious about Kashmir issue. India is committing unprecedented atrocities in Kashmir and Pakistan is providing unprecedented facilities to Indian National. India has not reciprocated but unleashed unprecedented propaganda against Pakistan.
Waiving off passport condition could prove a security risk as several non state actors can intrude under the garb of pilgrims. India can sabotage efforts being made to facilitate Sikh visitors.
Indian media is portraying Kartarpur corridor as a conspiracy against Indian national interests. They say that Pakistan is fomenting Khalistan Movement by Kartarpur but Pakistan says it is an example how we treat our minorities as minorities in India are facing serious threats from Hindu nationalists.
Darbar Sahib Kartarpur is located in narowal District of Punjab and is one of the holiest places for Sikhs. It is where Bba Gurunanak Dev Ji settled and preached for the last 18 years of his life and is his last resting place.
